Extraordinary Hardwood is a family-owned flooring business led by Dimitriy Khomenko. With nearly 20 years in the flooring trade, I know that a lasting installation starts with careful preparation. My team and I focus on precise work, clear communication and clean results for homeowners, builders and remodelers throughout Coeur d’Alene and North Idaho.

Flooring Done Right, From Prep to Finish

We install hardwood, engineered hardwood, LVP and laminate using glue-down, floating and nail-down methods. We also handle custom stairs, baseboards, demolition, floor leveling and concrete preparation so the work is done properly from the subfloor up.

Custom Stairs

Custom wood treads, engineered hardwood stairs, white risers, nosing and clean transitions. Each staircase is carefully measured and finished to fit the home.​

Straight and diagonal layouts, wide-plank floors, herringbone and bordered designs, along with durable LVP and laminate. We plan transitions carefully for clean connections to tile, stone and adjoining rooms.​

Demolition & Floor Preparation

A lasting floor depends on the surface underneath it. We remove existing flooring, handle interior demolition related to remodeling, grind concrete, correct high and low areas, and prepare the subfloor for installation.
